Reclaiming Wholeness: Yoga for Trauma & Loss
This class offers a slow, supportive practice using conscious breath, longer-held postures, and somatic release to gently access deeper layers of muscle tissue and release stored tension. This class creates space to soften the effects of daily stress as well as the imprints of past experiences, while prioritizing choice, safety, and self-awareness.
The class is led by Leah Hartman, who holds specialized certification in trauma-informed yoga and meditation practices and brings a compassionate, grounded approach to supporting healing and nervous system regulation. Through mindful movement and rest, you’ll be supported in reconnecting with your body in the present moment—cultivating a sense of stability, resilience, and wholeness as you move forward.

This spacious approach encourages profound rest and restoration, supporting balance and resilience beyond the mat. Reiki (energetic reset) and/or sound healing (vibrational healing) techniques may be offered to further enhance relaxation and integration.

Somatic Dance is a trauma-informed movement practice rooted in Dancing Mindfulness™, developed by Dr. Jamie Marich. Guided with care and choice, participants are invited to explore seven core elements of mindfulness in motion: breath, sound, body, story, mind, spirit, and fusion. Movement may be individual or shared within the group, with an emphasis on consent, personal pacing, and embodied awareness rather than performance or choreography.
This practice supports nervous system regulation and offers a body-centered pathway to healing by inviting intuitive, informal dance as a way to access the body’s own innate resources. Somatic Dance gently cultivates qualities such as non-judgment, patience, playfulness, trust, acceptance, and the capacity to let go. It also provides an accessible alternative to traditional seated meditation for those who find stillness challenging, honoring movement as a valid and powerful mindfulness practice.

Forest Bathing & Cacao Ritual
Step away from the pace of daily life and into a slow, intentional relationship with nature. This 2-hour Forest Bathing workshop invites you to immerse your senses in the natural world through the practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing), a gentle, guided experience of presence, awareness, and connection with the living landscape.
Through simple invitations such as mindful walking, sensory exploration, breath awareness, and quiet reflection, you’ll be guided to soften the nervous system, restore mental clarity, and reconnect with the rhythms of the earth. Forest Bathing is not a hike or fitness activity, but a contemplative practice of listening, noticing, and receiving—meeting the forest as a partner in well-being.
The experience concludes with a grounding cacao ritual, offering a moment of warmth, integration, and intention-setting. Traditionally used as a heart-opening plant medicine, cacao will be shared ceremonially to support reflection, gratitude, and gentle connection—within yourself, the group, and the natural world around you.
