What’s New This Month ✨ January at the Studio

Welcome back. I hope your winter break offered moments of rest, warmth, and reflection. As we step into the new year, I’m so happy to share that classes resume January 4, and I look forward to welcoming you back into practice—both in-studio and online.

You may notice that a few classes have been renamed this season. These updates were made intentionally, to more clearly reflect each offering’s focus and energetic purpose, while preserving the heart of the practice you know and love.

January Highlights

Each month brings something a little different—new themes, evolving locations, and fresh ways to engage with practice beyond the mat. Here’s what’s unfolding this January.

From Distraction to Insight: A Yogic Map to Mindfulness

This Yoga Sutra–inspired workshop series offers a practical, accessible exploration of mindfulness through classical yogic wisdom.

  • Offered primarily online
  • Limited in-studio availability, first come, first served
  • Live sessions are donation-based

For those wishing to engage more deeply, the complete year-long series is available on-demand for self-paced study.

  • One-time investment: $150 (payment plan available for an additional charge)
  • Access never expires
  • Workshop recordings are exclusively available to those who purchase the on-demand series

This option allows you to move through the teachings slowly and intentionally, returning to the material whenever your practice calls for it.

Aromatherapy Essentials — January Focus

Aromatherapy Essentials is a monthly workshop, with featured oils and themes that change throughout the year.

This month, we’ll explore the qualities of:

  • Clove
  • Coffee
  • Fir
  • Mandarin

We’ll highlight their benefits, practical applications, and how they can support both daily life and personal practice. Each participant will also enjoy a nourishing make-and-take creation to bring the experience home.

Location: Jefferson Studio

Investment: $25 (members: $10)

The Healing Hum: A Guided Sound Meditation

The Healing Hum is a traveling offering, held in different locations throughout the year to create fresh, supportive environments for rest and restoration.

This month’s session will take place at Wall Street Coffee, offering a cozy, grounding setting for deep nervous system regulation.

Your experience includes:

  • A guided sound meditation designed to quiet the mind and soften the body
  • A cup of rest-promoting tea, thoughtfully prepared to complement the practice

Investment:

  • $25 for non-members
  • Members: $5 + 1 class pass credit (to support the tea and coffee shop staff time)
